In the field Lead Cleaner Training

After you’ve completed all of the quizzes then you’ll be assigned to work with Kylie for several days (not necessarily in a row). Please note, there is no “extra person” these days like there is when a brand new person is training for the Cleaner position.

“Shadowing”

1) Work with Kylie on a 2 or 3 person team, functioning as a normal Cleaner

-In addition to your normal cleaning tasks, pay attention to the Lead Cleaner tasks that Kylie is doing throughout the day. She will give you the opportunity to observe and will “think out loud” so you can understand her process.

-Ask questions so that you can understand and be prepared for when it’s your turn to practice being a Lead.

“Being Shadowed”

2) Work with Kylie on a 2 or 3 person team, functioning as the Lead Cleaner, with Kylie as a support.

-Complete all Lead responsibilities as applicable

-Ask for, and receive guidance from Kylie about fine tuning your cleaning skills. Mastery of both details and speed is one requirement of become a Lead Cleaner.

-Ask for and receive guidance from Kylie about those new Lead responsibilities.

There will likely be several days to several weeks of working with Kylie and practicing the role of Lead Cleaner before she signs off on your ability to do that alone. Please use every opportunity to practice and hone these new skills, so that you can become a Lead quickly and effectively.
