What all would you vacuum in the bathrooms? And what tool would you use?: Use the brush attachment on the vacuum hose, the one with the yellow tape). And vacuum the ceiling vent, the hinge of the toilet seat, maybe the baseboards, tub edge, or anything that was particularly dusty or hairy. Also vacuum every inch of floor and the base of the toilet by the bolts.

List as many ways as possible to take care of the vacuum that will ensure great vacuum suction. : Emptying the canister (top and bottom) if it starts to get full. Making sure that dust is not stuck in the holes of the "cone" in the top part of the canister because air needs to get through there in order for there to be good suction. Closing the small red vent that controls suction. Making sure the foam filters are not caked with dust. (Pro tip. You can take the filters out, replace the canister, and use the vacuum hose to vacuum off the filters. Then replace them. This is a trick to use if they are getting really dirty and you don't have a spare set of filters in the duffel bag.
How should you clean rugs? : Shake small rugs outside. Vacuum large rugs. Be very careful of hand woven rugs or oriental type rugs, vacuum them using the hard floor setting (no brush roll running), it's not as effective for cleaning, but it's way less risky that you'll damage the rug.

What is a shortcut way to clean a couch if it doesn't have a lot of pet hair, but does look kind of dusty/dirty/crumby?: A dry cloth (white or blue) to just create a brushed looking affect, and to brush off a small amount of dust/crumbs.
What should you do after completing all dusting and vacuuming if your partner is still cleaning a bathroom?: Start mopping. But also ask them if they need any help. Communication is always the best policy! :)
